Carbide Tipped and Wrapped Flat Root Saw Blade
Carbide Tipped and Wrapped Flat Root Saw Blade
These have a carbide tooth placed on the outside circumference of the saw blade to lengthen the life of the blade itself. These are flat root saw blades so the emphasis is on the close contact with the cutting. These are normally used for tap cutting as they get close to the pipe wall than the concave style. This was because the sawblade rides on the carbide teeth around the outside of the saw blade and so the steel of the blade itself does not touch the pipe. The pipe can wear down the steel blade but it cannot wear down the carbide tooth. It is an advantage. It protects your investment.
