Carbide Tipped and Wrapped Concave Root Saw

These have a carbide tooth on the outside circumference of the saw blade to lengthen the life of the blade itself. This was because the saw blade rides on the carbide teeth around the outside of the saw blade and so the steel of the blade itself does not touch the pipe. The pipe can wear down the steel blade but it cannot wear down the carbide tooth. It is an advantage. It protects your investment.
