The flat spiral steel blade features sharp cutting edges on both the front and the back to cut and slice in both direction. The sharp front angle point will bore through obstructions and stoppages. The tapered cone-like shape for the tool holds roots, paper and rags tightly while pulling them back to the manhole. Spade blade root cutters shear off tap roots are always great for turning over sand and agitating hard packed dirt, mud and grease. Available in 2”, 3” and 4” Compatible with No. 5 Plumbers Rods.
